Eligibility Criteria

Here are the eligibility conditions that are mandatory to join Pak army as Technical cadet Course. You should make sure that you meet all these requirements. Otherwise you can’t apply for joining Pak Army through Technical Cadet. The requirements are as following

• Age: The age limit to join Pak Army through TCC is 17 to 21 years (with 3 months relaxation in upper and lower case)
• Nationality: Only the students who belongs to Pakistan can apply
• Dual Nationality: The individual having dual nationality, must have to surrender the nationality of other countries except Pakistan
• Gender: Only Male students are eligible for joining Pak Army through Technical Cadet Course
• Marital status: Unmarried citizens
• Height: The height required is 5 feet 4 inch
• Weight: As per body mass index (BMI)
• Qualification: Educational Criteria will be,
  • Matric/O Level with minimum 60% marks (English is obligatory).
  • FSC (Pre-Engineering) with Minimum 65% marks.
  • ‘O’ level passed (English compulsory).
  • ‘A’ level passed in Math, Physics, Chemistry/Computer Studies with grades A-C.

The minimum passing marks are 65% in O/A level and in FS.c (Pre-engineering). The candidate who have done their first part of FS.c and are currently in FS.c part-II can also apply by attaching hope Certificate verified by the College’s Principal.

Registration Procedure for Pak Army TCC

The registration process is given below with complete guidance. Follow these steps and register yourself for the selection in the Pak Army as Technical Cadet.

• Visit the official website of the Pak army www.joinpakarmy.gov.pk
• Find the section that relates to the Technical Cadet Course and click on the ”TCC apply Online Registration”
• Provide the required documents and data without making any mistake. The documents also include your name, father’s name, CNIC ,Educational documents data like marks etc.
• After providing all required data you can submit the registration form for the further procedure
• After you complete the registration form a test date will be assigned for you

Selection Procedure for the Technical Cadet Course

After the online registration you will receive a test date. The candidate must have to arrive at the test centre on given date and time. Try to arrive on hour ago at the test canter

Preliminary/Written Test:

The candidate must have to take the test that includes both Intelligence and Academic Test. The candidate will have to attempt all the questions in given time. These questions will be in the form of MCQs. The questions of the Academic portion would be taken from the Math, Physics, Chemistry, Computer science and other Engineering subjects. The candidate who clear the test will go for the next step.

Physical Test:

After passing the written test you will be called for the Physical Test. If by chance you declares to be medically unfit then you will be removed from the selection procedure. The physical test includes,

• Running: 1.6 Km in 8 minutes
• Push-Ups: 15 push-ups in 2 minutes
• Sit-Ups: 20 sit-ups in 2 minutes
• Chin-Ups: 2 chin-ups in 2 minutes
• Ditch Crossing: Length 7 x 7 feet, Depth 4 feet

NOTE: For the better results in the physical test, practice regularly all these exercises. So that, you could perform best in the physical tests. And also work on yourself to improve your personality and your mindset. So that, the Pak Army could select you on your merit bases.

Medical Test:

You will undergo for the Medical test at the nearest CMH by the Army Doctors. They will make sure that you are medically fit and fulfil the requirements of Pak Army. They will verify that you can join Pak Army as Technical cadet. After passing the Medical Test, you will be called for the initial interview.

Final selection:

Only the shortlisted students who have passed all these above tests will be called for this section. In this section, they will take your final medical test and will take your final interview to judge your personality. Final selection will be on the basis of overall performance of the candidate in the tests. The process of final selection of the candidates would be done by the GHQ (General Headquarters) of the Pak Army.

Technical Cadet Test Syllabus & pattern

Army Test syllabus for the Technical cadet is divided in two parts. These two parts are as following

This technical cadet initial test for the selection is not easy like other tests in Pak Army. If you are serious and want to pass the test with best marks. Ineligibility Conditions

• The candidate removed or screened out by the ISSB (Inter Service Selection Board), GHQ (General Headquarters), NHQ (Naval Headquarters), AHQ (Air Headquarters) more than one time can’t join the Pak Army.
• The candidate who is declared medically unfit by the Army doctors during the Medical Exam.
• The candidate who is dismissed from any Government job, Government service including Armed forces, armed Forces Academy, Training institute or any Government department will not be eligible to join Pak Army.
• The candidate who has declared as criminal in any major crime can not join Pak Army.
• The candidate who will not meet the eligibility criteria of the Pak Army will not be able to join Pak Army as technical Cadet.
• The candidate who is diploma holder, appearing to be studying at Armed institutions, or if you took the test less than 4 months (120 days) ago.
