Every Pakistani dreams to join the Pak Army. The Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) offers the chance to join the Pak Army twice a year through the PMA Long Course. Students who meet the eligibility criteria can apply to join the Pak Army. Any student who has completed their Intermediate (12th grade) can apply for admission to the PMA Long Course. Registration for the PMA LC

The registration for PMA long course takes place twice a year. First phase occurs in March and second phase takes place in October. The march course is known as odd course and October course is known as even course as that PMA LC is 155 regular commission, offered by Pak Army. The previous PMA LC was 154 and next one will be 156. the estimated registration dates are given below here:

  • Phase I: Registration starts on April 15, 2024, and ends on May 25, 2024.
  • Phase II: Registration starts on October 4, 2024, and ends on November 6, 2024.

Eligibility Criteria for PMA Long Course

  • Citizenship: Must be a Pakistani citizen from any region of the country.
  • Age: Must be between 17 to 21 years old. A maximum age relaxation of 3 months is allowed in both upper and lower limits.
  • Qualification: Must have completed Intermediate (FA, FSC, ICS, B.COM, DAE, or an equivalent qualification).
  • Gender: Only male students can apply for this course. Female students cannot apply. However, in some branches of the Army, both men and women can apply. There are also specific courses like AFNS (Armed Forces Nursing Service) where only female students are eligible for admission.
  • Height: Must be at least 5 feet 4 inches.
  • Marital Status: Must be single/unmarried.

Ineligibility for PMA Long Course

To join the Pak Army through the PMA Long Course, it is mandatory to meet all the eligibility criteria. If a person does not meet these requirements, they will be ineligible to join. Here are some reasons that can make a person ineligible to join the Pak Army:

PMA Long Course Initial Test Syllabus and Test Pattern

PMA Long course Initial Test Syllabus is as Follows,

  1. Verbal Intelligence Test
  2. Non Verbal Intelligence Test
  3. Academic Test
